When to Consider Surgery For Sciatica
If you are seeing a regular doctor for your back pain, you have probably had to think about when to consider surgery for sciatica pain.
The reason is simple. Pills and surgery are the only products they have. If they could really help your problem you wouldn’t have back pain anymore.
Sciatica pain is cause by misshaped disc, just like any other back pain. The shape cannot be corrected by surgery. Unless you have suffered a traumatic injury, it is a near certainty that there is nothing wrong with your back that cannot be corrected through non-surgical methods.
You just don’t get the basics of back care a repair taught to you because if the doctor cured you why would keep coming back. Most patients have been seeing the same doctor for the same pain for years before surgery is considered.
And then they want to let these same failures cut open their back and snoop around when they have already proven their best effort is merely an uneducated guess.
Pain is a very good motivator. But when to consider surgery for sciatica should not be taken lightly. Most people I know that have had back surgery are at best no better off, and one is far worse.
Surgery can even make it less likely that you can free yourself from back pain because of the unnatural damage caused by the surgery. Natural damage can be healed naturally with mild inversion and extension exercise. A doctors damage cannot be healed the same way.
When to consider surgery for sciatica? How about right after the cows come home.
