Flyers Notes: Parent set to have surgery on back
Defenseman Ryan Parent will miss six weeks after undergoing back surgery tomorrow, the Flyers said after yesterday’s 4-2 win over Carolina.Parent will have surgery to remove a disk fragment from his lumbar spine, general manager Paul Holmgren said.
